Disk Size Confusion

Hello,
Can you please tell me why we can't find a hard disk of capacity 750GB/1.2TB AND SOMETHING LIKE THAT?

We find harddisk of 250GB, 500GB, 1 TB, 2TB. Why not something in between that?
Please tell me the reason, i desperately want to know the answer.
