Songs on an ipod shuffle w/o itunes/download

Hello,
I would like to know how to put songs that I already have on my windows files onto my 2gb ipod shuffle. I cant download any itunes or other programmes for reasons only known to myself. Please let me know in basic english please as I am not great with computers thanks you.

Then try this:
Connect your ipod, open 'my computer', right click the ipod and click explore. Then find the 'songs' or 'music' folder (it will be hidden, go to tools-->folder options and check 'show hidden files/folders' if you don't see the music folder). Then copy your music in.

Ipods use an encryption though when they transfer the music, so your songs will show up with weird sequences of characters as the name. I would just download iTunes.
