How do i set my ps3 up manually to the net

Hello,
how do i set my ps3 up manually because when it is done automatically it wont read the IP address?

thanks 4 the link but i cant find how to do it.

is there anyway i can get the ps3 to red the IP address?

hi,
download the new firmware 2.42 - this will fix your problems.
follow the instructions here :
