Acer aspire 4752 went off while boot scan

Hello,

My laptop acer aspire 4752 was on first time boot scan with recently downloaded Avast anti virus free version and in the middle of the scan it turned off. It is dead. power was on charging mode. I tried to restart several times, but it is completely dead. Please help me anyone. Thank you

Did you try the "hard restart" procedure?
1. remove the battery and unplug the power cord
2. hold down the power switch for 45 seconds
3. reconnect the battery and power cord.
4. restart the laptop

Sometimes this will kick-start a laptop.
