How do I format and reinstall Windows Vista?

Hello,
I have a Toshiba Satellite a205 and I'm wondering how to format and re-install Vista. I'm also wondering if this will completely reset my computer to factory settings and delete all programs and other things I've installed on my computer. Thank you.

Hello,

Try this 1

If the recovery partition exists in your hard drive then you can recover your

laptop to factory restore. Doing a factory restore does delete all the programs

that you have installed.
