Speakers not playing, but headphones fine!

Hello,

The sound has suddenly stopped coming through my speakers, but if I plug my headphones in, it's working fine. I've tried a system restore in cause my 4 year old did something while he was watching his stuff on the laptop, and I've also tried configuring the sound on the playback devices, and nothing's working.

I'm too afraid to ask if this may be the end of my speakers! Is there anything else I can try?
