Computer sound from t.v. screen

Hello,

my name is Nickisha. Hello to all.

I have a question regarding my computer with sound. It is a dell but I am using my t.v. screen for the screen of the computer. I have everything that it says it needs for sound to be effective to work but yet i still cannot seem to hear anything. I would really be appreciatave if someone can tell me something concerning the sound of the computer. Thank you again so much! God bless!
