Hi Linda,
To avoid these type of errors:
1. Often delete all Internet temporary files and cookies. (You can use cleaner available from Kioskea's download section)
2. Get the latest Windows updates including Internet Explorer 9
3. Degragment your harddisk
4. Scan your computer for viruses
