Speaker change. Closed

Hello, 

I had realtek speakers for my Laptop. I replaced them with Altec Lansing speakers. They do appear to work just fine but my Laptop still shows me as having Realtek speakers. Any way to get it to recognize my Altec speakers? Thanks

Hello, 

This is quite normal because all the Altec Lansing speakers are in reality plug & play ready with all PC and Mac systems. 

You may believe that you need to install its own particular drivers but they do not need any additional or special drivers.
