How to use QQ chat

Hello, my name is Gary and I would appreciate someone helping me as I am brand new here and have never had a chat app on my computer. I am planning on chatting with people internationally who are also on the QQ network but I don't know how to get set up.
For example, when I set a time to chat with someone, what do I do? Where do I go? Do I get a member number? Is there a set of instructions on how to do this? I would appreciate any and all assistance.

Hello Gary,

I never used QQ, however, I know for a fact that because of the numerous processes added to the QQ software as well as adware, many antivirus manufacturers have classified QQ as malicious spyware.

It has grown too big and is now out of control.

I suggest you use something safer for chatting.
