Hello,
I have an Acer One laptop with Windows 7 and the keyboard is malfunctioning. When I type the letter "n" (sometimes other letters too - g,h,k,m) a series of "j"s appears right after it and it doesn't stop until I press the Backspace key. It also does it randomly on anything my curser is sitting on.

Like this:
njjjjjjj

I tried taking the keys off and cleaning them out along with all the keys surrounding it but that doesn't seem to help. I also tried uninstalling and re-installing the keyboard from the device manager and scanning for viruses but neither solved my problem.

I suggest you try using an external USB keyboard to test the laptop.

You probably have a mechanical/electrical problem with the physical keyboard and need to replace it.

Good Luck
