Hello,

I'm using IE and Chrome. I have no antivirus installed yet and the system is clean (checked by many online scanners).

I've disabled windows firewall and tryed IE lowest securty level.

I've reinstalled the software (Win8), but the problem remains with exe and msi files.

Please, help!

Hi crisjc,

A little clarification would help here. I would like to know if you get any error messages when you try to download files. Please mention the exact error message in your reply. This will help me to isolate the cause of the problem as to what features are blocking the download. Also, I would like to know if you are using the Desktop version of Internet Explorer and Google Chrome or the Modern Style App version.

Please do write back to us.

Hi! There's no error msg. It simply freezes on 0% when I choose to save the file.

I'm using IE10 and Chrome 23.

The modern style app version doesn't work either.

Tks for your feed back!

Regards.

Hi crisjc,

Try uninstalling and then reinstalling both the browsers once. You can check the below mentioned link for steps on how to uninstall Internet Explorer in Windows 8:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows?ui=en-US&rs=en-001&ad=US

You can uninstall Google Chrome by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking Programs, and then clicking Programs and Features.

Do reply with result.

Yes, I'm sure It doesn't pop-under. I choose to save the file but the download stands on 0% untill timeout. I'll try to install the browsers again, as above. I'll keep you posted ASAP. Tks!

I've disabled IE 10 and deleted Chrome. It still doesn't work.

The new browser (now I'm using Firefox) requested me to install Adobe's Flash Player plugin and this download is also always as on "pause" (and the same occurs with different softwares that I tried to download from other sources).

I don't know if it shall be important but I was going through this same problem with Vista (I didn't mention this earlier 'cause I selected to install the new OS version discharging all previous data and configurations).

In advance, thanks for your great help!!!
