Hi udita,
As you have mentioned in your configuration details you have Windows 7, I assume you have windows 7 installed in your computer. The problem you are facing can happen because of a corrupt Operating System or a hardware failure such as a Hard Drive or Incompatible Memory. Startup Repair can only fix certain problems, such as missing or damaged system files. It can't fix hardware failures, such as a failing hard disk or incompatible memory, nor does it protect against virus attacks. Startup Repair isn't designed to fix Windows installation problems either.
It is recommended that you run Diagnostics provided by your computer's manufacturer if you have a branded computer. If the diagnostics doesn't come up with any problem you need to do an Operating System Reinstallation as Startup Repair couldn't fix the problem.
Please revert for clarification.
