Disk boot failure

Hello,
Good day.. i need a help. my computer wont work. it only displays an error "DISK BOOT FAILURE". and when i check my cpu, i unplug the cables connected in the HDD and i power it on. but after i plug it again and turn the power on thats the time that my monitor displays no cignal. can somebody help. thanks a lot..
