Why don't you try Rave www.randmsoft.com It's email based and gives easy, secure access to a remote computer (and unbelievably cheap to purchase) . Ive installed it on my PC, it didnt take long and works perfectly.

I forgot to add, go to http://www.randmsoft.com/raveIndex.html click on downloads and you will find a trial version you can download for free as well as a easy to follow user guide "Quick Start" See how you go!
