Hard Drive SELF MONITORING SYSTEM has reported
that a parameter has exceeded its normal operating range.

My grandmothers computer (DELL DIMENSION E521) has been displaying this message for a little over a month now and can't afford to have a tech guy come out to help. Ive tried looking up solutions but nobody seems to have the same model as her so the F2 menus display different things. Im not extremely tech savvy so any and all help would be appreciated! Please be patient with my responce times... im on my nook tablet c:

I would assume i went to the 'drives' part in the F2 menu but nothing seems to work and im afraid of just making the problem worse!
