Let me know what happens when you start your laptop ? Does the black screen
appears with a blinking cursor ?

It starts like normal then the windows loading symbol appears for a few seconds then it just goes black with the cursed.. thank you for your help its much appreciated. I will try the back up site and let u know how it goes thanks again.

Hello,
Try this 1
1) When you switch ON your PC, keep tapping the "F8" key to get "Windows Advanced Options"( if boot menu appears, press "Esc" key and keep tapping the F8 key).
2) Select the option "Last Known Good Configuration".
If the problem still exists then follow the Step 1 and go to safe mode. Let me know if you are able to boot into safe mode or not.
