Files GONE!?

Hello,
I tried to move(cut => paste) files to a computer on my network and the files just dissapeared from my computer and did not appear on the other one either. So where have my files gone? It was smth like 25 movies, so I really need them back. Can anyone come up wih a solution?

did you check the "Recycle Bin" on your computer?
