Maxell usb stick

Hello,
I got my self a maxell usb swivel 32gb to store a security recovery since my windows 7 tells me i need a minimum of 20gb to store it the memory stick ask me to create a password with a file that come with it istar.exe so i did i created the back up but now my laptop dose not open the memory stick it reconizes its there but i cant open it. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME Thank you

You should not use any additional software when creating a backup. That security program might have encrypted the backup files. I suggest you reformat the flash drive to eliminate those programs and restart the Windows backup.
