You need to ensure that you're connecting the headphone wire in the right jack. However, if headphones were still not listed, follow the steps mentioned below:
1. Go to Control Panel > Sounds and Audio Devices
2. Speaker Settings > Advanced > Speaker Setup . Click on the drop down arrow and choose stereo headphone.
