Sata hard disk booting issue not detected in boot menu

Hi friends,
My sata hard disk suddenly stopped booting I checked the cable it was good then I tried to format and install xp but it says error code 7. Someone said tat mat be due to media problem. My important data's have struck in there please help me what should I do....

Hello,
Try this 1
Check your RAM. If you have two RAM's then remove one RAM from the slot
and then try installing the OS.
