CD-ROM doesn't appear in my computer Solved/Closed

Question

My cd rom does not appear in my Lenovo computer, but when I put in the cd the green light flashes and you can hear hear the Cd running but it cant read also it still doesn't appear in my computer.  
Kindly help me. 

Can somebody help me please?

Hello,   

Try this 1   

Click on Start --> Run --> Type regedt32 and press "Enter"   

Registry editor will be opened.   

Backup your registry by going to File --> Export and save the file with any name.   

Now on the left side, navigate to the location   

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE --> SYSTEM --> CurrentControlSet --> Control   

--> Class --> Click on {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}   

At right side delete these files if u find it   

upper filters,lower filters,upper filters.bak,lower filters.bak and then restart your   

PC.

Had same problem,I re-installed windows,that helped,now its working.
I think you have drivers if its flashing?If not install driver and try,windows update allowed?.If its still not working,re-install windows,thats my oppinion.
