I was playing a game on my laptop(HP pavilion dv6000) and the screen went black and then the BSOD popped up and shut off my computer and when i tried to turn in back on the computer and everything will light up and i can hear the computer running but the screen stays black i've tried hooking up monitors and none of them work. Any help?

These HP laptops have a history of failed motherboards. They generate excessive heat from the video chip that in time will cause the laptop to fail. It's probably not cost effective to try to repair it by replacing the motherboard.

Sorry for the bad news
