Hello this is chetan. I have a problem in my pc. My pc is not moving forward after showing Mother board screen. I have Asus P5gmx mother board. If i connect my hard disk to some other pc it's working fine. But y it's showing this problem to my pc i didnt understand please help me. U can mail solution to my mail id. deleted for security reasons by your friendly neighbourhood moderator.com

Hello,

Try this 1

1) First try resetting the BIOS.

Turn off your PC and remove the power chord --> Open the cabinet --> Remove

the CMOS battery for 15-30 minutes and then put it back properly. Now plug the

power cord back in and switch ON your PC.

Click on the below hyperlink "CMOS Battery" if you don't have any idea about

the CMOS battery

Another way to reset the BIOS :

If the problem still exist, click on the below link and follow the instructions in

"Hardware Reset".

2) If the problem still exists then check the POST information.

When you switch ON your computer keep tapping the "Tab" key to see the

POST message. Look for the information where it keeps detecting.

3) Remove all the devices like (CD\DVD-Drive, Hard drive etc) connected to your

motherboard and then switch ON your PC. Check if you are able to pass the

motherboard logo.
