Hello and I thank you for any help you can give me here.

I have an Acer Aspire M1100 with missing recovery disks for Windows Vista.

The Acer recovery management software is not functioning either so I cannot make disks.

I want to wipe my hard drive but cannot without the CD's for this procedure. Is there any good software that will help me to wipe my Hard drives so I can begin a new Clean install?

Thank you for any help.

If you have only one hard drive the Windows DVD will give you the option of reformatting the hard drive before installing Windows. This will give you a clean install.

Good Luck

Hey! for wiping your hard drive completely you can use a data eraser utility. You will get this utility online.
