Toshiba Satellite c855-1j1 blank screen when power up.

Hi Guys,
This morning my laptop wouldn't turn on.
I turned it on and the power light has turned on so that's working, however
the screen has NOT come on at any point! :(
I'm really struggling to come to terms with why this is doing this
as it's only a few months old!
Can anyone help me please?!

Hello,
Try this 1
1) Unplug the power cord --> Remove the battery --> Hold the power button for
60 seconds --> Connect the power supply then try to switch ON the laptop and
later put the battery back into the laptop.
2) If the problem still exists then click on the below link and follow the instructions
