Laptop boot failure.

Pls i have an hp pavilion g6 Notebook pc. The problem is that when i press power button the lights indicate that the pc is on but it does not boot. Instead the capslock key keeps on blinking. It only boots after several attempts to put on and off (that is pressing the power button on and off for several times). Pls help out.
