In need of help with a Toshiba laptop

I just completely restored my Toshiba laptop back to its factory settings. However, I cannot open anything on my laptop. It still comes on but I cannot access anything. It will not even let me add my anti-virus disk back on the computer everytime I insert the disk my computer does nothing. Please help. ?

So I ended up clicking the erase all data. ?. What does that technically mean.?
