Hi,
I would suggest you to please send them an email requesting a change/resetting of password. I know for sure that the Yahoo management will help you because their customer service is very good. They are very efficient in taking care of these types of issues.
I had a similar experience on a couple of occassions and I did the sme what I suggesed to you and it was very well taken care of.
Please try it and see what happens..
