username on my laptop does not come up anymor Closed

Hello,
well i was installing a program that i had dl, the final step was to reboot it.. After doing so my username did not come up anymore.. I think maybe the problem was because as i was installing the program it had the option of "change computer name" and i did so.. I tried to go on safe mode, and it wont log me on as it just goes back to the welcome part and there is no username! ive also tried to repair it by using my xp cd .. when it gets to the 2nd final stage it freezes...  so please can anyone help me..... would be much appreciated thankx ^_^

When it shows you the Welcome Screen, type the name: ADMINISTRATOR
and do not put any password. If you can do this , reply back I will tell you what to do next. 

As to what concerns about the system freezing, shutdown the system, remove the memory card, use an eraser to remove static energy then reseat it in its place or choose another slot.

well where do u want me to type that in?? I have tried pressing ctrl+alt+delete then that username comes up.. I put in Administrator - it said i need a password.. so in the password i put in "Admin" it didnt work....

and i dont know where my memory card is or if i have one?.. lol so sorry....
