Have you tried to plug it out and in again, if your batteries are good maybe you bluetooth software has a problem , you could try reinstalling it

Thanks for your input. I'm not sure what you mean by pulling out the plug since it is a bluetooth mouse. If you mean the laptop plug. I have. I am traveling outside my country and don't have any instructions or CDs. I went to computer/ properties and the device manager. Then I went to HID compliant mouse and was told I have the latest drivers. Is there somewhere I can go to get the procedure and CD for reinstalling?

you could try the home page of the company that makes it, you could also google the mouse make and model and stick manual at the end, there is a website somewhere (havent been there in years) but its just dedicated to manuals
