Try this 1
Click on Start --> Run --> Type devmgmt.msc and press Enter. "Device Manager" will be opened.
Is there any yellow mark? Place the pointer on the "X" and let us know the message that is being displayed.

@ jack4rall all it says is that no speakers or headphones are plugged in ..... and there is NO YELLOW MARK ANYWHERE ON THE DEVICE MANAGER............:(
