Windows unable to format message appears

I have used some to software to extend the capacity of 2 GB Kingston pen drive. but it is not responding and ask to format.then windows gave a message called windows unable to format. Please tell what should i do?

Try to format your pen drive using the format utility provided by the

Kingston.

Click on the below hyperlink "Format Utility". You can find all the instructions.

Note : The format utility is only supported on the DTHX30/XX
