Ok the p/n for the laptop is 387UA#ABA Net Gear is N150 wireless router WNR 1000 Hope that is what you need. Thanks for the quick response.

First make sure that the "Wireless Button" is turned ON.
Click on the below hyperlink "Wireless Button".

Scroll down and refer to "Verify the wireless network device power switch is on"
Click on the below hyperlink "Wireless Setup". You can find the basic information.

Thanks alot, but I don't show some of what they are talking about. Maybe cause I have Vista. I give up....lol. It makes a good desktop. lol

Ok somehow it connected. Not sure what I did, but the ethernet cable is not on and it its working. Thanks for all the help. I really appreciate it.
