Hi
I have data of around 4000 companies from one data sources in an spread sheet
I have data of M&A, Joint ventures and wholly owned subsidiaries which I collected from different data sources
The challenge is to find these 4000 companies in this other spreadsheets and extract information regarding these companies
As data was collected from different sources, the name of the companies are not necessarily matching, so can't use vlookup and other functions
kindly help

Hi Abrarali,
You say the companies aren't matching. Can you elaborate on that?
Is there always something in front or at the end? Are there numbers involved? Are there fixed distances?
Best regards,
Trowa
