I bought a new Lenova laptop recently, only been using it for two weeks and everything was normal. All the sudden, my right shift and Alt keys, and both my Enter keys stopped working completely. I don't know if I accidentally hit a button that disabled them or what! My main problem is with both my Enter keys not working, especially while using Microsoft Word! please help! Thank you in advance!

Hi Reem Qadan,

If your computer has a password to login, try to hit the Enter Key after entering the password at the logon prompt. If you are able to logon using Enter Key, this confirms the problem is inside windows. In this case, the first suggested step is to remove all the additional languages from "Regional and Language" settings because change in the keyboard layout can cause keys behavior to change. Please ensure all the additional languages are removed from "Regional and Language" settings. Click here to find steps on how to change your keyboard layout in Windows 7.

Note: I have provided the steps specific to Windows 7 as you have not provided the Operating System Installed in your computer. The steps may vary for other Windows Operating Systems.
