My internal memory on phone is filled-up and everytime am using the phone, it shows messages that I should delete some applications from the phone, but I now wanted to move some applications on the phone to my SD-card because I still have up to 2G free space on my SD - Card, but I couldn't get this done. Anytime I tried to connect my phone to my PC using USB cable, I only see my SD-card but not the phone, why? and what can I do to get this fixed. Thanks!

Something to think about, even if you could move the apps to the sd card, you would not be able to run them from there.

Hello,
You described 2 problems, as far as I understand.
How to move apps on sd card: depending on your Android version, you can do this in the Settings App:
Settings > Application > Click on your application and, if the app allow this, you should have a button "Move to SD card" or something like that
See your phone as an external device: I don't really understand the difference you make between "seeing your phone" and "seeing your sd-card". Could you explain what you want?
@ac3mark: Android allows you installing your app on the sd-card...

If you want to move apps to your SD card, the process is likely to be something like this: Go to Apps menu, find the app you want to move. Then through that particular App's settings, select move to SD card.
