Hi,
when i connect a external hard disk to my windows 7 pc it is detecting but not showing in my computers. when i go go to disk management it shows the disk as unallocated space.

The hard drive is probably broken.
You should test the drive on another computer,

go to the BIOS setup, & change the disk controller setting from AHCI to IDE. might worth the try.

Since it's a EXTERNAL (aka USB) drive the AHCI to IDE trick is not going to have any effect.
