Cpu on's but no signal to monitor

hi, my cpu on's but my monitor has no signal. i hv tried all tricks. changed my vgi card n hdmi card 2 times, rubbed the battery in mother board, cleaned my ram and its slot, cleaned my graphics card, pressed d power key for a long time with no power supply, i hv done all this still my computer wont turn up. wn i on d cpu d red light keeps on continuesly and wont blink. as my system was slow with 4gb ram i wanted to format it. wn i insert a new vgi card only 1 time d systems on's and it says recovering files and it jus get stuck their. hope some one understands my problem. plz guide me as wt to do. i am plucking my hair coz f it.......

Hi ,raj pro

Try to connect your Monitor direct to motherboard VGA instead in the video card then open the CPU again if the monitor have signal in motherboard VGA then your Video card have a problem.

MY CPU and my desktop we're working earlier today.. The problem I have is that, after I had moved my cpu to another room due to the lack of space we had in the previous room... My cpu's desktop just says d-sub no signal while everything else is working perfectfly... Please help I really need my cpu and with all these problems im having im unable o complete some assignments

Hello,
I am trying to connect my laptop to a monitor. The monitor worked fine with a pc when I last used it, a while ago. I have recently used the same laptop with another monitor, and that worked fine. But those two together... the best I managed was to get the monitor to show me the laptop's desktop for 2 seconds before going back to safe mode. Any idea what's going on??

Computer starts but monitor says "no signal"

Hi,

Yesterday, my monitor worked fine. Today, l connected it to a different computer just as a test to diagnose the monitor problem on that computer. This monitor again functioned properly on the second computer. Then, l brought it back to the original computer and reconnected, found everything as normal.

When l turn the computer on, the monitor shows the brand name screen and then goes to a black screen with the "no signal" message.

I know the computer is functioning because l can hear the welcome sound even though nothing shows on the screen.

I have tried unplugging/re-plugging and removing/replacing the CMOS battery. No succe...
