Hello Veasna Yim,

A reset to factory parameters crushes everything that was on the hard drive.

If your documents are valuable, you can contact a company specialized in data recovery, but it is usually quite expensive.

If not, try to recover your deleted data with Recuva. It is a freeware which works well.
But it can't recover files that have been "crushed" by new entries on the hard drive.

Of course, don't save the recovered data on the partition being explored.
For example, save them on an external drive.

Download Recuva here :
https://ccm.net/downloads/security-and-maintenance/5003-recuva/
It does not require installation, indicates what will be recovered and what quality ...
Choose the "deep scan".

You will find a documentation here :
https://www.ccleaner.com/docs/recuva
Read well before using and don't hesitate to ask if you need.

After the rescue, verify however, because you can be surprised by opening some documents.

Good luck for your data recovery. Keep me informed.

Best regards. Bridget.

Hello,

Deep freeze is a software for restoring the system, not for restoring the data.
Windows can do the same thing with a "System Restore to an earlier date".

Veasna Yim, have you tried Recuva. It is a good software but don't wait and above all don't use your hard drive before recovery, because if you write new entries on it, you will overwrite définitively your data.

Best regards. Bridget.

Thank you so much for your concern, actually, I also experienced this type of problem. When I searched on internet for suitable software to recover data after system restore, I got details about Remo Recover. It can recover doc, docx, etc. documents and so on.
