WD- My Passport is undetected by all devices

Hello,
i am having trouble with my 'WD- My Passport' it remains undetected by all of my device i.e tv, media player, computer. I have had for nearly a year and it has just began to do this. I am able to find it in "devices and printers' on my computer, but remain unable to access its files. Any help is welcom and would be much obliged.

Sorry, your hard disk has probably failed and needs to be replaced.
