When I Start My Sims 3 Into The Future Its A Black Screen

so when i start my game at start up it is a black screen and ive tried everything but its just not working and im starting to get really pissed because i bought this game and it wont even let me play so please help me.

Hi Confused Monkey,

Okay I have experienced this with other games before s let me ask a few questions first.

Is your computer above the required system requirements for Sims 3?

Have you tried right clicking Sims 3 then going to properties then clicking the compatibility tab and clicking run this program as Administrator and run this program in compatibility mode for Windows XP service pack 3.

If this doesn't work then try all compatibility modes for it.
