have a hp pavillion dv4 my laptop with no warranty but my computer showing a black screen that says windows has encountered a plomblem communicating with a device connected to your computer.i ran a hard disk check it says replace hard disk 1 .at the bottom of the blackscreen it has file:\boot\bcd. Status:0xc00000e9 info: an unexpected i\o error has occurred. What does it mean and is theor a cheap way to fix it.i never made a recovery disk amd it wont let me push f11

It does look like you need to replace the hard drive.
Probably the only way to fix your laptop is to have a local repair shop replace the hard drive. You should also be able to use an OEM copy of Windows and your COA key (from the label on the bottom or the laptop) to reinstall the OS.
