NEED TO FACTORY RESTORE DELL INSPIRON (W7) F8,12 WON'T DO IT?

PLEASE HELP! I need to restore my Dell Inspiron laptop with Windows 7 back to it's factory default state. There is absolutely nothing on it I want to save at all so I don't need anything saved. Problem is it won't restore by the computers advanced recovery method nor will it work doing it with the manual and the F8, F12 option. Thanks so much!
