HELP keyboard freeze

iv been putting pc together from scratch for a long time .never had this prob before .socket 775 mb .perfect boot until i start loading win xp keybourd stops responding.i then loaded operating system from another pc .it worked for about a minute .then keyboard freeze.its driving me crazy.why would it do this .iv tried different ram hd .psu etc .i wait about 5 minutes try again .it boots then freezes again and again .is it the motherboard thats glitching .any suggestions before i toss it

I agree it's probably the motherboard.
