F8 does not say Repair my Computer. Windows Installer flashes constantly on screen.
I have Safe Mode/networking/command prompt. Enable boot logging/VGA mode/last known good config/directory services restore/debugging mode/disable auto restart on system failure. Start windows normally/reboot/return to OS Choices menu.

Well after much consideration I figured out how to remove the operating system. I looked thru many web site instructions and none of them worked. F8 doesn't work and ctrl F11 doesn't work with xp professional.
