Laptop gone bad

Okay so heres the issue my laptop is busted and my older brother attached a old dell desktop to it and its been working fine for a few months. Now all the sudden it just keeps bugging out. It will cut off and then when I go to cut it back on it wants to beep really loud and not turn on the desktop monitor. What can I do?

Hi,

Try this:

1) UNPLUG THE LAPTOP
2) REMOVE THE BATTERY
3) HOLD DOWN THE POWER BUTTON FOR ABOUT 30 SECONDS TO 2 MINUTES
4) THEN PUT THE BATTERY BACK IN
5) START IT UP..
