My problem with that is, my original keyboard is blown. I'm having to use a wireless so that won't work.

Sorry but Toshiba never thought of that one!
Most laptop issues on this forum concern Toshiba. Toshiba never made any recovery CD's. Using any recovery CD's on Toshiba will lead to a failure.
The only way would be to get the original keyboard repaired or replaced, but is it worth it?
