I have been trying for weeks to get my aspire one to work. It was fine one day then the next wouldn't boot beyond the windows loading screen. Now when I turn it on it immediately goes to the apology screen with option to start safe mode or start windows normally. If I select safe mode it seems as though its going to start but just stops at mulit(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\windows\system32\DRIVERS\agpCPQ.sys.
If I choose start normally it just stays at the windows starting screen.
I have tried doing the bios and holding fn+esc. The usb flashes but it just stays at the apology screen and nothing happens.
It is out of warranty so acer want $219 to look at it!

Help please

Windows is probably corrupted. Please try this: turn off the netbook, then turn it back on while pressing these two keys Alt and F10. When the computer logo appears on the screen in order to do a system recovery. This will erase your data files but will probably restore the netbook to working condition.

Good Luck

No luck. It still went straight to the safe mode screen
