Laptop need repair

Hello,
I have a HP Pavilion 2500 turn on but screen stay black and want turn off. Would like it fix and up graded with the best of every. Bigger hard drive , memory, bois, every thing good for Twenty years.

Ok, so take it a shop and tell them. Although no pc will last for 20 years. Moores law tells us that every two years speeds double.

windows vista I want window 8 to work on it also. window 8 is up loaded all ready. Also would like cooler fan install on the computer with a cooler stand.

So, if you were to get a bigger hard drive, do you know how to PROVISION the spaces, mark them as bootable, and LOAD an OS? Do you understand the physical connections for makeing this repair?

What you are asking is way beyond the scope of a free tech forum. Can we get some feedback on what you have done to troubleshooting the non-working monitor!
